By purchasing, using, or accessing ClawBox hardware or software, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our products or services.

2. Product Description

ClawBox is a personal AI appliance that routes API requests to third-party AI model providers. We do not provide AI models directly. ClawBox acts as a gateway and router.

3. Open Source Software

The OpenClawBox software is licensed under Apache License 2.0. The ClawRouter routing engine is licensed under MIT License. You may use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with these licenses.

4. Purchases & Payments

All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise
Kickstarter pledges are subject to Kickstarter's terms and all-or-nothing funding policy
Retail purchases are processed through our Shopify store with standard payment methods
No recurring subscription fees — you only pay for third-party API usage

6. Warranty

ClawBox hardware includes a 1-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects. See our Warranty page for full details.

7. Limitation of Liability

ClawBox routes requests to third-party AI providers; we are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of those providers' models
Cost savings claims (up to 90%) are based on benchmark testing and may vary based on usage patterns
We are not liable for service interruptions caused by third-party API providers
Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the ClawBox unit

8. Non-Affiliation Disclaimer

OpenClawBox is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, DeepSeek, xAI, or any other AI provider whose APIs are supported through the routing engine. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

9. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing your own API keys for AI providers
You must comply with each provider's terms of service and usage policies
You are responsible for the security of your ClawBox device and API keys
You must not use ClawBox for illegal activities or to violate third-party rights

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
